Shower Filter Cartridge (KDF)

Description

These shower filter cartridges make your hair and skin smoother and shiner by removing chlorine and chloramines as well as other unwanted harmful chemicals.

Safe water shower filter cartridge occurs usually in five stages by these five main components.

1. Polypropylene Filter
2. Carbon Filtration
3. Calcium Sulfite
4. KDF (Kinetic Degradation Reflux)
5. Activated ceramic balls

1. Polypropylene Filter

Safe Water KDF shower filter multi-stage shower filter contains double polypropylene cotton filter to purify water from any sediment particles, sand, and rust from your water. These impurities are removed from shower water by our shower filter which may make skin and hair rough and cause irritation.

2. Carbon Filtration

Carbon compartment within the Safe Water KDF Shower Filter is made by compressing the loose carbon into a solid compact structure which enhances its capability to absorb impurities massively.  This carbon cartridge acts to wit remove chlorine, any excess of inorganic chemicals, heavy metals, pesticides while the compact structure also ensures removal of particle sized sediments.

3. Calcium Sulfite

Calcium sulfite within our filters looks like white balls. This salt is insoluble in water, and it performs further a dual function of removal of chlorine and chloramines making your shower water chlorine-free that in case present in excess cause skin irritation and hair problem. It is also used as a disinfectant to kill harmful germs.

4. KDF (Kinetic Degradation Reflux)

KDF is a shiny sand like medium that consists of copper-zinc formula. This works on the basis of oxidation-reduction formula in conjunction with other components of our shower filter. This high-performance KDF media provides effective treatment to remove up to 99% of chlorine, dirt, lead, iron oxides, hydrogen sulfide, odours and resist bacterial growth. Dangerous and harmful contaminants are removed from water by exchange of electrons with the KDF formulation. Converted less harmful salts and ions are drained from the water supply in this process.

5. Activated ceramic balls

The last fillers in Safe Water KDF are bio ceramic balls. These ceramic balls remove many water-borne germs and bacteria. Further these ceramic balls are very effective in removing carcinogens as well as heavy metals from your water making your water softer. Softer water in turn reduces dry, scaly itchy skin and hair.
