Push-fit Granular Activated Carbon Filter Cartridge (10”)

Description

Push-fit Granular Activated Carbon Cartridges are made from acid washed coconut shells and coal with high concentration of carbon. Carbon in this cartridge is activated through heating process in the complete absence of oxygen.

This granular activated carbon can absorb several chemicals with high intensity, specifically Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from the water. These filters are also used to eliminate pesticides, hydrogen sulfide, nitrates, and many others.

Commonly used disinfectants by the municipality such as Chlorine and Chloramine cause some objectionable smell and taste in the water. Activated Carbon Filters also remove these contaminations from the water to get rid of the unpleasant odour and taste caused by these chemicals.
